About Silas Hale

Silas Hale an analog film photographer and writer who is currently at work on his debut novel. His work is rooted in a search for meaning through the lens of liminality, time, morality, and existential thought. His creative practice—both literary and visual—serves as an exploration of the spaces we inhabit between certainty and ambiguity, presence and absence, the known and the unknowable. Through fiction and film, Silas seeks to capture moments that question, rather than answer, the deeper structures of human experience. He is currently at work on his debut novel while continuing to document the ephemeral and the unresolved on 35mm and medium format film.
